Where are you located and what time is best to call?
We are located in Maui, Hawaii and are in the HST (Honolulu) Timezone. Depending on the season, Hawaii is 5-6 hours behind the east coast, and 2-3 hours behind the west coast.

What is the best way to pay?
We accept PayPal online and we also take Visa or Mastercard over the phone. If the PayPal option is not available on our site, then please call us or e-mail us with your order.
Domesting Shipping: How do you ship within the U.S. and how long does it take to arrive?
We ship using US Priority Mail and it usually takes 5 – 7 working days from the time you place your order to arrive anywhere in the U.S. from Hawaii. The larger format photos and prints are shipped rolled in a mailing tube.
How much is domestic shipping?
Shipping costs are calculated based on your shopping cart total:
• Purchases up to $99 = $5 shipping.
• Purchases of $100 to $150 = $10 shipping.
• Purchases over $150 = FREE shipping.
Fed Ex charges calculated upon request.
International Shipping: Do you ship outside the U.S. and what are the shipping costs?
We do ship to most countries. Shipping costs are calculated based on your shopping cart total:
• Purchases up to $99 = $10 shipping.
• Purchases of $100 to $150 = $15 shipping.
• Purchases over $150 = $20 shipping.
Fed Ex charges calculated upon request.
How long does it take shipping internationally?
It usually takes 14 to 21 working days from the time you order using airmail. We recommend FedEx as it takes 5 – 7 days from the time your order and is easy to track. E-mail us with your order and we can calculate the shipping: info@surferart.com.
Is the artwork framed?
We usually send the artwork unframed as the glass frames are heavy, costly, and easily damaged when shipped from Hawaii. However, some of the original paintings are framed. Please check the site.
Are the block prints original?
Yes, they are hand carved and hand printed.
Are the photos, posters and prints also signed?
All 8.5″ x 11″ photos are signed, as well as all block prints (with the exception of the block print included in the “Surf Package” product). All Block Prints inked and printed by the artist, John Severson, and come with a certificate of authenticity. Some small posters are also signed. Please see the product description of each piece for more information.
What is the best way to preserve the color of the art?
When framing, use UV Plexiglass if possible. Avoid hanging art in direct sun.
Where can I order John Severson’s movies like Pacific Vibrations and Surf Fever?
Severson’s surf movies are not available on DVD at this time.
Are there other original paintings or watercolors available that are not on the site?
Yes, we can send you some images if you let us know what you are looking for.
